Mission Statement

The Salem County Communications Center mission is to serve and protect the public and first responders we serve by providing the vital communications link between the community and the emergency first responders.

We recognize that both the public and the emergency first responders are our customers. We strive to demonstrate, on a daily basis, the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and customer service possible. When information is received and disseminated from the callers to emergency first responders, it is done in an efficient and professional manner, saving time and saving lives.

We are accountable to all we serve for our actions. Our staff is always seeking new ways to improve the center’s operation through new advances in technology, training, incident reviews and the professional development protocols we employ to help shape our Telecommunications Operators. This helps to make Salem County and its communities, a safer place in which to live, work and visit.
